Some of you may not believe it, but indeed the time has actually come for the 2013 site redesign, including massive changes to the front page. In this endeavour, we're being helped by various members of the Wikia design team, so you may see some unfamiliar names making some edits here on files normally touched only by our local admin. Don't be alarmed.
Target date for completion is 9 October, and I really think you're going to like what's coming.
In the meantime, expect that you will have to clear your cache often, and that things both tiny and huge will be changing each time you view the site for the next week or so.
Although this is normally an "announcement" discussion board, please feel free to ask your questions about the redesign below, and I'll answer as I can :)
