The Verron were a species known to both Sarah Jane Smith and the Doctor. The Tenth Doctor once called the Verrons "very generous". The Verrons had an air corps which the Doctor described as "utterly useless" since they had not fought a war in several millennia, but was still their proudest achievement. (PROSE: Beautiful Chaos)
