Vicki Pallister's mother was the wife of Newton Pallister.

Vicki's mother had wanted to call her daughter "Tanni". (PROSE: Byzantium)
She died of a genetic heart defect shortly before Newton accepted his job offer on Astra. Whilst Newton fell apart following his wife's death, Vicki remained strong. (AUDIO: The Crash of the UK-201)
