Professor Vinny Mosten was an archaeologist who went on an expedition to Senile Nine to authenticate a find of Senilian vases and figurines.
He learnt that they were fakes and bribed the chemist who invented the acid that the Senilians used to age the pieces into giving him two flasks, taking one with him to the press conference at which he planned to expose them. En route, the flask broke in his pocket and he rapidly aged and died, leaving only a pile of ash.
When the second flask was recovered, the acid was named after him and Senile Nine became rich from its sales. (PROSE: The Twin Dilemma)
