The Viyran Commander became so after invoking Leadership Clause Hexagon-13 to kill and replace his predecessor, who accepted that he had been "infected" with ideas and emotions by the Rogue Viyran. His first act was to order the use of the grappling stream to recapture Charlotte Pollard, promising that they would track her down after she escaped into the Ever-and-Ever Prolixity.
