Wandering Jew

The Wandering Jew was a story of a Jew cursed with eternal life by God to wander the Earth until he found salvation. John Sharon saw parallels between this story and Captain Grant Matthews. The Doctor was aware of this story by his second incarnation. (PROSE: The Indestructible Man)

An excerpt from By Cain out of Lilith: The Spiritual Ontology of the Undead read by Reverend Antonio Finlay to the First Interdisciplinary Conference on Vampirology attributed the origin of the myth of vampires in part to the Wandering Jew:

Vampires are given origin myths invoking villains from the Bible or Christian legend: Cain, Lilith, Judas Iscariot, the Wandering Jew. The undead are seen cowering in fear from the sight of cross or Bible, and scarred by such substances as holy water or the communion host.Reverend Antonio Finlay [Predating the Predators (short story) [src]]

A Wandering Jew who only spoke French was one of the "meta-convergent semi-resolving anomalies" involved in the collapse of meta-fictional universes. (PROSE: The Big Crunch)

A member of the Pageant wore a mask of the Wandering Jew. (PROSE: The Man in the Velvet Mask)
