William Hogan

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

William Hogan was a dentist who retired to Shropshire and developed a relationship with Anne Hartman.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

William was born in 1942 or 1943 and worked as a dentist. His wife, Caroline Hogan, died circa 1998. After retiring, he took up gardening and lived with his cat, Mr Norbit in Shropshire.

In 2007, Anne Hartman moved in next door. William attempted to befriend Anne and offered to take care of her garden, including the haunt that her daughter had given her, without pay. Despite her originally accepting his offer, William was later forbidden from entering the garden following Anne's attempt to kill the haunt.

Some weeks later, following strong storms, William returned to the garden before being shooed out upon Anne's sudden discovery of his dead cat. Yvonne later told William about Mr Norbit and invited him to dinner at Anne's, during which they discussed the Ghost Shifts and his deceased wife. William later lent the Hartmans his second-favourite shovel and shears from his shed, which they used to uproot the bulk of the haunt.

Following Yvonne's death in the Battle of Canary Wharf, (TV: Doomsday) William supported Anne and the two entered into a romantic relationship. On the one-year anniversary of Yvonne's death, in the summer or autumn of 2008, William comforted Anne and the two left the garden. (AUDIO: The Rockery)
