Xan was a boy who wanted to talk to the Fourth Doctor about curing Hurda's child. He instead took Romana II to the House of Zarn. He later took the Dcotor there noting it was a trap. The Doctor sent him back to get the rebels. He was killed by the vampires with distressed Romana and the Eighth Doctor. (AUDIO: The Eight Doctors)
