The Zyglot trust was an organisation formed to protect the Zyglot species from becoming carnival sideshows. The trust was failing to protect the species through lack of funds. Astrolabus was the leader of the trust, using the alias Professor Astro Labus. The Sixth Doctor faked the kidnapping of Ivan Asimoff, a member of the trust, and demanded half a million Mazumas in ransom. He hoped the publicity would cause a surge of donations to the fund. The Doctor left behind money he stole from Intra-Venus, Inc. for the trust's use. (COMIC: Polly the Glot)
