Traudl Junge

In 1945, Adolf Hitler employed a secretary who was present in the Führerbunker during the Battle of Berlin. On 29 April, intending to die in Berlin, Hitler dictated his final "Will and Political Testament" to his secretary. (PROSE: The Shadow in the Glass [+]Loading...["The Shadow in the Glass (novel)"])

  • While unnamed in The Shadow in the Glass, the character is intended to be Traudl Junge, Hitler's real world secretary who typed his will.
  • She was portrayed by Wanda Moore in the ITV Sunday Night Theatre episode "The Death of Adolf Hitler".
