Private Alex Burnside was a UNIT radar operator and once had a date with Jo Grant. During the date he assured her he'd found a message being beamed through space but Jo persuaded him to keep that quiet. He also bristled every time Jo mentioned the Doctor. (AUDIO: The Other Woman)
