The Archivist was a Time Lord.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Archivist could remember back as far as the presidency of Pandak VIII and, by Romana II's presidency, he still had several regenerations left. As his family was unaffiliated with any of the chapters, he was ideal for work in the archives. Several times over the years he had to transfer data from one archival format to another, starting with magnetic tape and progressing through to disks and strips.

Leela had K9 Mark I distract the Archivist so that she could search for Andred's biodata extract, but he returned from speaking with Romana with a veiled instruction to assist her. He helped her find Andred's, which was empty, and then Torvald's, which had been tampered with. (AUDIO: The Inquiry) He later helped Andred find information on Pandora for Darkel. He read the information to him, after which Andred murdered him. (AUDIO: Lies)
