In an alternate 2006, Abigail Ali flew over the ruins of the power station during South Africa's invasion of the city. (PROSE: The Time Travellers)
In the Eleven-Day Empire, it was used as a research and development centre headed by Father Christèmas. As opposed to the gothic buildings used by Faction Paradox's Parliament, its architecture was industrial and modernist. Its chimney spewed clouds of puce and powder-blue into the sky.
According to S. Walmric's Faction Paradox: A Negotiable History, the Parliament used it to house the Faction's more unpredictable elements. (PROSE: Weapons Grade Snake Oil)
