Bayeux Tapestry
The Bayeux Tapestry was an embroidered cloth depicting events from England's history.
Charley Pollard once told the Eighth Doctor that she knew the Bayeux Tapestry depicted the Norman conquest. The Doctor's TARDIS appeared in the Bayeux Tapestry. (COMIC: Hunters of the Burning Stone, Untitled [+]Loading...["Untitled (DWM 598 comic story)"]) In 2005, when Who is Doctor Who? published an article about the Doctor's involvement in the Dummy Massacre, a commenter named bobby suggested the website's former owner, Clive Finch, look at images of the tapestry, as it depicted the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler standing next to the blue box. - The TARDIS appears in the Bayeux Tapestry in COMIC: Who Was 'Ere!, a comic in The Doctor Who Fun Book.
- "Knights [+]Loading...["Knights (illustration)"]" was a framed art print released by GB Eye that depicted Silurians fighting Norman cavalry.
- On 7 June 2024, the Big Finish Productions account on Twitter posted a new image of the Bayeux Tapestry with the TARDIS as part of their "Historical Who Sale".[1]
