Brothers of Hame
The Brothers of Hame, also called the Brotherhood, were a group of genetic experts dedicating to creating new lifeforms that improved the universe. They were descended from the Halldons, (PROSE: From the Platform One Guest List [+]Loading...["From the Platform One Guest List (short story)"], Category - Non-Human [+]Loading...["Category - Non-Human (feature)"]) despite accounts of the Halldons being completely destroyed by their creations, the Daleks. (PROSE: We are the Daleks! [+]Loading...["We are the Daleks! (short story)"]) The Brothers of Hame existed contemporaneously to the Deathsmiths of Goth. During the auction of parts of Earth in the Middle Blue Period, the Brothers purchased a section of the Amazon which they moved to the Panjassic Asteroid Field. Performing accelerated evolution on these trees, they became the Forest of Cheem within two hundred years. The Forest came in conflict with the authoritative nature of their creators and demanded freedom; the Brothers, having learned from past mistakes in evolutionary experiments, agreed to the Forest's terms and granted them independence.
