Squire Claude Portillon was the father of Lucern and Finicia, and lived in Tranchard's Fell. After a number of deaths, he sent for John Kincaid to arrange for the trial of a witch. His children were killed and copied by a pair of Varaxils who were searching for beings who could channel Odic energy. (AUDIO: The Witch From the Well)
