Borg-modified Cyberman drones. (COMIC: Assimilation²)

The Cyberman drone was the standard Cyberman foot soldier, subordinate to the Cyber-Controllers.

Cyber-Leaders were distinguished by their black side handles, whilst the Cyber-helmets of Controllers typically sported a unique cranium design.

Use of the term[[edit] | [edit source]]

A Cyberman of the Cyber-Mainframe. (AUDIO: Code Silver)

In one parallel universe where weapons-grade Cybermen were organised by the Cyber-Mainframe, a Cyber-Controller used "Cyberdrone" as a term for the fully-converted Cyberman units subordinate to it. (AUDIO: Code Silver) Similarily, a Borg-modified Cyber-Controller who crossed from N-Space to the Federation universe refered to its subordinates as "drones", equivalent to those of the Borg Collective. (COMIC: Assimilation²)

Variants[[edit] | [edit source]]

A CyberMaster. (TV: The Power of the Doctor)

During the Master's Dalek Plan, the CyberMasters sported conventional side handles. The only exceptions were the Cyber-Leader and its immediate subordinate, who were distinguished by Gallifreyan headdresses and cloaks. (TV: The Power of the Doctor)
