Daisy K was a citizen of Terra Alpha, but never managed to master the rules of Alphan stumpball. (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) She joined the Happiness Patrol (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) and became a patrol lieutenant.
Daisy K was Priscilla P's squad leader in Happiness Patrol B for five years as she hunted down killjoys (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) and she trained Susan Q how to shoot. (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) She was informed by an agent that Andrew X was sending writings critical of Helen A's regime to Terra Omega and broke down his door to arrest him and destroy his manuscripts and printing presses. Daisy K ripped the letter F off of Harold F's tunic when he was regraded to Harold V for attempting to contact Terra Omega several months following Andrew X's arrest. She ordered that the TARDIS be repainted pink (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) and arrested the Seventh Doctor and Ace as spies before escorting Andrew X to his execution. In her absence, the Doctor and Ace escaped, (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) for which Helen A held her responsible as the person in charge at the time. Daisy K recaptured Ace (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) and had Susan Q beaten when she helped Ace briefly escape, despite having once been her friend. (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) She captured Ace a third time, only to have to answer to Helen A when Wences helped her escape, and was put in charge of Susan Q's execution by fondant surprise, which the Doctor had the Kandy Man put a stop to. She then escorted Susan Q and the recaptured Ace to the Forum for the Happiness Patrol auditions, but the Doctor and the demonstrating drones blocked the way and feigned happiness to keep her and her unit from killing them, causing them to become forlorn and arrested by Priscilla P as a result.
Helen A had Priscilla P release Daisy K from the waiting zone as she needed her at the palace as her regime crumbled (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) and some members of the Happiness Patrol defected, events which distressed Daisy K. (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) She attempted to contact the Kandy Man, unaware that the Alpidae had destroyed him, (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) and was left in charge whilst Helen A prepared to flee in her rocket. She eventually made Helen A face the fact that her rule was over (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) and was disarmed by Susan Q before she could kill the Doctor. Daisy K was impatient, spoke to visitors like they were children and was scared of the drones. She understood that she should never tell Helen A, whose moods made her nervous, the truth of things if it would upset her and denied reality in her presence.
