Dennis Spooner: Wanna Write a Television Series? was a documentary profile of Dennis Spooner, writer of The Romans and other Doctor Who television stories.

The music used in the opening and closing credits was the theme music from Jason King, which Spooner helped create. The title of the documentary is a reference to Wanna Buy a Television Series?, the opening episode of Jason King.

This documentary was included on the DVD release of the Doctor Who story The Romans.
