Disambiguation was a method used to set apart similarly named pages on wikis. This was largely done using disambiguation terms in brackets such as "(in-universe)", also known as "dab terms" in the lingo of the Wiki.

The Wackopedia article for the David Bowie double album Low/Profile linked to Low/Profile (disambiguation) "for other stuff which isn’t as good, but which has the same name". (PROSE: Low/Profile [+]Loading...["Low/Profile (short story)"])

Once, Tetra-None Hepta-Oct and Coloth caused a feedback loop by printing off pages of the Wiki about The Book of the Snowstorm from the future internet using Doctor Know's computer. This event itself occurred in The Book of the Snowstorm, leading to an infinite accumulation of disambiguation terms. One such page produced from this was the four-dab-term "The Book of the Snowstorm (in-universe) (in-universe) (in-universe) (in-universe)", as well as a disambiguation page that listed the infinite pages. Tetra noted that "dab terms" had once become very funny for a handful of years. (PROSE: The Book of the Snowstorm [+]Loading...["The Book of the Snowstorm (short story)"])
