- The Doctor explains what entertains him on the long journeys between star systems or "between shows to you".
- Every TARDIS comes equipped with a bingo machine so there is no reason for anyone to be bored.
- The Doctor calls out numbers for Tegan and Turlough including "two fat ladies - 88, clickety click - 66, and key of the door - 21".
