DD 1 was the first issue of A Doctor in the House? released by Titan Comics. It was released in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Doctor Who.
It is the third release and the sixth overall story of the Doom's Day multimedia series.

- This issue takes place across Hours 0600-0700.
- Cover A is based on Detective Comics #566. The same issue appeared as a poster in The Return of Doctor Mysterio.
- The weapon that Doom is brandishing on the comic-style cover of this issue appears to resemble a sonic blaster similar to the one owned by Jack Harkness. However, no such blaster appears in neither this or the other part of this story. The same gun previously also made an appearance on the cover of the Doctor Who Magazine supplement Four Hours of Doom's Day.
- The last pages of this issue promotes the next issue with an image of the cover and a type of "Next Time"-synopsis that reads:
