Dracorex

(Redirected from Dracorex Hogwartsia)
The Dracorex, known by the full Latin name Dracorex Hogwartsia, was a bipedal herbivore with a bony, spiky skull and a back lined with small horns. It stood about two metres tall, was three metres long from bony snout to the tip of its tail, and bore an astonishing resemblance to the common depiction of a mythical dragon.
The Dracorex's wide, flat teeth were adapted for chewing plant matter, rather than devouring maidens, but if it lowered its head and charged, it could slam into a foe with enough force to crush a human ribcage. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Dracorex was named after Hogwarts from Harry Potter
- The Dracorex was notably introduced in Episode 3.7 of Primeval, in which it was pursued by a Medieval knight played by Tony Curran. The profile provided in Prehistory Repeating Itself [+]Loading...["Prehistory Repeating Itself (feature)"] was, in fact, recycled from Cubicle Seven's Primeval game.
