Scrampus Federation
The Scrampus Federation, (PROSE: Christmas on a Rational Planet) also known as the Federation System or the Federation of Three Worlds, (PROSE: Snakedance) was an "all-powerful" government based in the Scrampus System. Controlled by a Federator, it existed for at least five hundred years and contained the Federation Homeworld and Manussa, located in the Scrampus System and "third planet in the Federation System."
On the fringes of the Federation, the Witches of Enderheid were tried, sentenced, and burned at the stake. (PROSE: Christmas on a Rational Planet)
A Federator discovered Manussa in its year 2926 during the Sumaran Empire, removing the Great Crystal and banishing the Mara to the Dark Places of the Inside. Five hundred years later Manussa was a Federation colony, its economy based on subsistence agriculture and tourism. The current Federator's family would visit to celebrate the banishment of the Mara every ten years. (TV: Snakedance)

The Terrestrial Index, which dated the events of Snakedance to the 31st century, identified the Federation system as a local federation which preceded the establishment of the Galactic Federation by the 32nd century.
