Flanders saw heavy fighting in World War I. Daleks, using a stolen Time-Conveyor, once materialised right in the middle of a battle being waged there between Britain and Germany. To the amazement of David and Peter, two boys that were chasing the Daleks through time, one Dalek was destroyed there by heavy artillery fire. However, before its demise, the Dalek had significantly battered the German lines, inadvertently helping the British carry the day. The next day, what remained of the Dalek was pulverised by another artillery barrage, thus effectively wiping the Dalek from the fields of Flanders forever. (PROSE: Timechase)
