A forced-paradox state could be used to erase something or someone from history physically without harming their memetic existence. Such a technique was used by the "elite cadre" (PROSE: The Book of the War) of the Time Lords' Celestial Intervention Agency (PROSE: Alien Bodies) to transform themselves into the Celestis.
