Ernest P

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
(Redirected from Forum doorman)

Ernest P was a citizen of Terra Alpha who worked as the stage doorman at the Forum.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Ernest P was the son of the Forum's stage doorman, whose own father had also had the job. He took on the job at a young age and followed in his predecessors' footsteps by treating the public rudely so that they would not bother him, although he always acted cheery whenever he saw the Happiness Patrol.

Ernest P warned the Seventh Doctor, who was hiding from the Happiness Patrol, that he needed to have a permit to hide outside the Forum (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"]) and was annoyed when he returned to find out whether Ace was being forced to take part in the Happiness Patrol auditions. (TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"]) He later informed the Doctor that Ace and Susan Q were yet to arrive at the Forum. Personality[[edit] | [edit source]]

Like his ancestors, Ernest P was impolite to members of the public to dissuade them from approaching him, although he was always polite when in the presence of the Happiness Patrol. (PROSE: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (novelisation)"])
