- The Grinch is the titular character of the Dr Seuss book How the Grinch Stole Christmas!.
- Benedict Cumberbatch voiced the character in the 2018 film adaptation.
- The book's title was used as a possible answer in one of the competition questions in DWM 558, the question being "Which of these classic films is also the title of a Doctor Who Christmas special?"
