Max, previously, and still known in some regions as, HBO Max, is an American-based online streaming subscription service for viewing movies and TV series, including BBC shows.
In 2019 they struck a deal with BBC Studios to get exclusive rights to stream new Doctor Who series from Spring 2020, thus taking the rights previously held by Amazon Prime.[1]
This was superseded by a 2022 deal with Disney+, another subscription streaming service, slated to begin around 2023.
