Jackson (Pitter-patter)

(Redirected from Jackson (Pitter-Patter))

The Jacksons were two colonists on a colony planet. When the colonists drank the rain, thinking it was ordinary water, the rain attacked the colonists in revenge. Twenty people were sliced by the rain, and the survivors ran to the mines for safety. Downpours lasted for days at a time, not ending until at least one or two people were killed. The rain fell in what appeared to be funnels on the colonists' shelters.

After six weeks, the only survivors were the Jacksons, Andy, Jack and Susie. The rain broke through the Jacksons' shelter. The man tried to run, but was unable to find anywhere to go, and the woman looked up to the sky in surrender. The rain killed them both. (PROSE: Pitter-Patter)
