John Lumic: Man of Steel was a biography of John Lumic written by Darren Timoney and published in Pete's World.

In the book, Lumic describes the secret of his success as family. Upon finding the Gemini12 password, "ChatGuest1" determined that it was a password for a page on the Cybus Industries website, and sent the readers of Defending the Earth! to investigate the book following advice from a reader's friend. Together, they discovered it was a code for the Cybus Industries Staff Intranet, found on a page titled "Our Family". ChatGuest1 stated they did not believe Lumic knew the meaning of the word family.
