Jury

A jury was a body of people sworn to give a verdict in a legal case on the basis of evidence submitted to them in court.

In the War Lords' simulation of World War II, the British Army found the Second Doctor and Zoe Heriot guilty of espionage and charged Jamie McCrimmon with desertion. Smythe used his spectacles to convince the jury to find them guilty. (TV: The War Games)

In one account of Kemel's life, he was tried for the murder of two men. Finding use for someone as strong as Kemel, Theodore Maxtible bribed the jury to come to a verdict of self-defence, allowing him to quickly employ the Turk. (PROSE: The Evil of the Daleks)
