Kyrano was Tin-Tin Kyrano's father, who lived with her on Tracy Island, the headquarters of International Rescue. Kyrano's brother was the Hood.

In an account dated to January 1965, Tin-Tin and her father thought that Jeff Tracy would like a cup of coffee while waiting for news of the ongoing rescue mission. Tin-Tin delivered the drink to Jeff on her own. (TV: The Man from MI.5 [+]Loading...["The Man from MI.5 (TV story)"])

Other sources dated the activities of International Rescue to the 1990s, (PROSE: The Dying Days [+]Loading...["The Dying Days (novel)"]) the 2060s, (PROSE: Titan Declares War! [+]Loading...["Titan Declares War! (short story)"] etc.) and the 2080s. (PROSE: Captain Scarlet in Death Crash! [+]Loading...["Captain Scarlet in Death Crash! (short story)"], etc.) In at least one of these timeframes, the year 2066, Tin-Tin was shown to be alive and well. (COMIC: Solar Danger [+]Loading...["Solar Danger (comic story)"])

A question in a test assigned to Spectrum Shades by Colonel White in 2068 asked for Kyrano's profession and the nickname of his brother, with the answers being "Servant" and "The Hood", respectively. (PROSE: Spectrum Promotion Examination Green 3 [+]Loading...["Spectrum Promotion Examination Green 3 (feature)"]) Another quiz in the same year, also from White, asked who was the father of Brains' assistant, with the answer being Kyrano. Although Kyrano only received a mention in The Man from MI.5 [+]Loading...["The Man from MI.5 (TV story)"], he was voiced by David Graham in nine of the thirty-two episodes of Thunderbirds. Additionally, Kyrano did not appear in the remake series Thunderbirds Are Go and is mentioned in just one episode.
