Mars Polar Lander

The Mars Polar Lander was a probe sent from Earth to Mars in the 20th century.
As the probe was nearing Mars, the Second Doctor, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot landed on Mars. When the Doctor realised that the probe was due to land right where the TARDIS stood, they attempted to leave. However, the probe landed on top of the TARDIS, then fell to the ground, damaged beyond repair. (PROSE: Please Shut the Gate)
