Mod

The mods, or moderns, (AUDIO: The Shoreditch Intervention) was an Earth subculture in the 1960s. They were rivals of the rockers.

In England in 1965, a Maker transported a group of mods and a group of rockers to a futuristic city on a planetoid in 2993. The mods and the rockers continued their rivalry for nineteen years until the arrival of the Eighth Doctor, Fitz Kreiner and Compassion in 3012. The Makers, having realised that taking the people from Earth had been a mistake, offered to let the people remain in the 31st century, or send them back to their original time, undoing everything that had happened to that individual and erasing their memories of the past nineteen years.
