Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
On Betrushia, after days of waiting for something to happen in the Ismetch and Cutch battle, Grek and Maconsa are delighted when Ran informs them that the Cutch have been sighted at the Dalurida Bridge.
The Cutch are holed up, and the Ismetch wait for them to show themselves. Suddenly, Ran breaks cover and draws the Cutch out. The Ismetch mow them down, and Ran receives, first, a scolding, then praise from his senior officers.
