Reyn was a fox-like alien that could change into human form.
His ship was damaged, forcing him to land on Earth during the Bronze Age, in the area that would become Swallow Woods. He stayed on the ship while it repaired itself, which finally happened in the 21st century. Reyn wanted it to re-enter the Long War, but the ship refused. The Eleventh Doctor convinced Reyn to return to his homeworld by way of the TARDIS. Reyn had become a mythical hero known as the Traveller, whose return was foretold. This was due to the Doctor travelling back in the planet's history and planting the legend of the Traveller. (PROSE: The Way Through the Woods)
