The Scrampus System was a star system who star was orbited by at least four planets. The fourth planet of the Scrampus System was G139901KB, better known as Manussa, the home of the Manussans and the Mara. (PROSE: The Terrible Manussa)

Although written as "Scrampus System" in the novelisation of the television story Snakedance, it is also written as "Scrampus system" in the short story The Terrible Manussa.
