**Well I'm sorry, but the first thing that comes up when you search solar system in google is the wikipedia article, so I'm sorry if I, like most other people, use wikipedia for referencing. As far as I was aware, the topic was not controversial. Also, going into series questioning of NASA, if we lived in Alpha Centauri, would all "solar systems" be called "alpha centauris".
