What we've found is that users are more likely to stick around if you post a welcome message to everybody who makes a contribution. It makes people feel good when somebody notices that they showed up, and it makes them more likely to stick around. | |||

I notice from the Recent changes here that you guys don't use your user talk pages very much. I think that really helps to build your contributor base.
