I don't know how much of an issue this is, but perhaps the Sontaran race was named after the General, and then either founded a new homeworld and called it Sontar, or renamed their existing homeworld Sontar. I'm new here, but I got the impression that such conjecture was permitted to be included in italics within articles, if it's reasonable. Is that right? == Precision over location of star system == | |||
According to the SJA episode [[The Last Sontaran (TV story)]], Sontar is located in the Metasaran Galaxy. However, the wiki page for Sontar also states "Mutter's Spiral" (The Milky Way) as a location. However, unless it's a case of alternative timeline/space-time fuggery not mentioned on the page, there seems to be no source suggesting Sontar is in the Milky Way. |
