: If it were only the name it'd be one thing, but the IU Edwards is also drawn to ''look'' like the actor. To my mind, if we had a character called Jodie Whittaker who was drawn to look like Jodie Whittaker, she would uncontroversially get the "(in-universe)" dab even if it was a heavily fictionalised version who never played the Doctor or any adjacent role.
