The Lorduke and Strut were not very close as the Lorduke was a partier whilst Strut was deeply into science. [[Sixth Doctor|The Doctor]] attended his party and delivered a present from Strut to the Lorduke. It turned out to be a [[Self-Replicating Robot]] that proceeded to wreck the party.
