2007 (this series' year) saw a big TV strike, shortening seasons for many TV shows. However, Dr. Who is a British TV show, and I thought the strike only hit the United States. Am I missing something here? PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 19:50, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

No strike effects - and it wasn't any shorter. It was exactly the same length as the other series (13 episodes + 1 Christmas Special) but the way the three part finale worked meant that there were only nine 'stories' rather than the usual ten; but the series was still the same length with the same number of episodesBaziel 15:32, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
