Talk:Eleven Things You Probably Didn't Know About the Corsair (feature)
Invalid?[[edit source]]
This page was created with an {{invalid}} tag, but I'm not sure why: it's written from a firmly in-universe perspective (for instance, nowhere does it say "the Corsair in The Doctor's Wife"), and while a few entries are purely descriptive of the Corsair's habits, most tell specific stories, together constructing a larger narrative of the Corsair's life. Here's the full text (legally hosted online by the author). – n8 (☎) 14:54, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- I believe it is considered non-narrative due to its format as a list, but I do agree it forms a narrative and as such could be valid. Chubby Potato ☎ 15:54, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- To me, this just appears to be a succession of eleven pieces of flash fiction. I never really considered it like this, but there definitely isn't a. out of universe information, and b. non-narrative information, thus I feel it meets the criteria to be a valid source. I agree that this should be valid. 18:25, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
- This looks pretty straightforward to me (and will clear some things up at Talk:The Corsair). The rename is done. Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 01:45, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
In my defence, I created this an invalid because it was historically referred to as such in the BTS section on the Corsair's page. That said, I am fully in favour of its newfound status of validity. (although it would be nice if policy allowed a more accurate description of it as a valid "feature" rather than a short story). Danochy ☎ 00:26, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
