Keeping the page[[edit]]
So aside from saying "the book is valid but the summary on its back is not" is splitting the hairs of hairs, wouldn't the more logical thing be to move the page to "Author (the secret lives of monsters)" or keep it here but with a conjecture tag, like Colin (The World Tree) Editoronthewiki ☎ 22:00, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
- It doesn't seem unreasonable at all, nor "splitting the hairs of hairs", for me to say the back cover, dust jacket, acknowledgements, and about the author are not part of the narrative, and not part of the DWU. I feel crazy having to explain how this is easily a violation of rule 1. And again, as I put in the proposed deletion reason to the admins, there isn't a Stan Lee in Marvel "author cameo" going on here. There's not really any presence of the author as a narrative character, especially compared to the Doctor in the afterword. -- Tybort (talk page) 22:55, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well I mean, the about the authors section is definitely fiction. It covers Amelia Williams and Melody Malone, and then in-universe Richards. The only issue is... the about the authors section doesn't appear to be in the physical book, just the ebook. You can see the about the authors section on Amazon; I do intend to split this from Summer Falls: Introduction (short story) into its own page, About the Authors (short story). 15:37, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
