- Please note that spoiler policy is very clear: pages canot be created until the story has been broadcast in full. Yes, part 1 aired yesterday but that was . . . part 1. Thus the story hadn't been fully aired at that point, and our automatic creation-suppression hadn't been lifted. See, we try to let page editing begin automatically as close to the end of the original broadcast as is practicable. You can always check the blocking message to see the exact time the creation ban will be lifted. We need to do this creation protection lifting automatically, because, well, we're nto all in the UK time zone. It's best to, as the old infomercial used to say, "set it and forget it".
- The best course of action for editors is simply to start writing the article offline or on a sandbox and then transfer their work to the page once the ban is lifted.

That's really stupid. What if this wiki had been around back when the classic show aired (I know the internet wasnt realy around yet, but that's not the point). Would you have waited weeks until each episode of a serial had aired. What about End of Time? Did you wait until both parts had aired before yuo created the page. Sarah Jane episodes should just be treated like any other 2 parter. You should create the page after part1 airs, and add more info after the 2 part airs.-unregistered
Creation of this talk page[[edit source]]
This talk page was created as a redirect to another page. Please do not do this in future, as it unnecessarily complicates the page creation process.

What happened to the page history?[[edit source]]
This article started as The Curse of Clyde Langer (TV Story), in violation of tardis:spoiler policy and tardis:disambiguation policy. Spoiler policy was violated because the creating editor obviously was trying to get around the creation block on The Curse of Clyde Langer. The name violated standard dab because the correct dab term is (TV story), with a lowercase s. Also, it was suggested through the use of {{merge}} that the admin should just straighten out this sidestep around policy by merging this page with a newly created page.
No. Admin are not here to oblige your desires to get around the most basic policies of the wiki. The page should never have been created until the credits for ep 2 rolled. Consequently I didn't choose to do a page move, which would have preserved the page history. Instead, I simply deleted that article and brought its last revision here to the new page. This has the effect of depriving all editors who worked on the page early of a few edit points, depending on how much they edited the bad page.
It's hardly that big a punishment. But I do need to make the point that creation blocks must be respected. Do not try to get around them by starting a page with a slightly different name and hope that the admin staff will help fix your mistake later. If you come across a page that's been created prematurely, don't edit it. Put a {{delete}} tag on it instead.
None of us is perfect at this. I made a mistake yesterday and changed the aricle Stan Lee to reflect his mention in part 1. Really, I should have waited until today to make that edit.
Thig is, though, we all need to be trying to respect the spoiler policy because all users need to have the promise of the spoiler policy delivered to them. There are people who really don't want to have anything spoiled to them, and they should be able to edit this wiki without fear.
So please, when you see that an article has been create-protected, please read the protection message carefully to find the date and time the protection expires, and don't edit about that story until that time. If you think that a create lock time is wrong, please don't take matters into your own hands and start a similarly-titled page up. Instead, please put a message on the page of one of our administrators, asking for a review of the block time.
