In the cast section, can we add Mark Sheppard as Canton Deleware III since we know for a fact that he's in the episode? TheTARDIScontroller 18:02, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

But the trailer for episode 2 starts with Amy apologizing to the little girl saying "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shoot you" accompanied by a new shot of the girl opening the visor of the helmet showing a bullet hole in a position that shows the shot missed.

I think this is still unproven, but it seems to be an error. First, if that actually the same model of console that appeared in THE LODGER, then that little girl may be the same holographic program little girl from the earlier episode. Second, River states that the Doctor knew everything about her when they first met. That's not the situation currently.
I'd leave it as is for the moment, although there may be more editing due after the second episode airs.

Skip[[edit source]]

Hey did anyone else notice a little jump or skip at exactly 18:21? Maybe it's just my version of the episode but it seems deliberate, there's even what sounds like a spooky music cue exactly after it happens. Given the powers of the Silence, and the time skips we saw in "The Lodger" I think it's possible this could be on purpose. Pregnacy[[edit source]]

So shouldn't the fact that amy is pregnant be added to continuty also amy remembering the previous times she saw the aliens isnt a production error it's clearly delibrate possibly from her pregnacy (if it isnt rory's and if that's true 47 MORE YEARS!)

Continuity - River Song[[edit source]]

On the Page it says:

"River Song suggests in this episode that her and the Doctor are not meeting in random order, as has been implied before, but are actually meeting in the opposite order. This has been true so far, as every episode she has been in has been earlier in her timeline than the one before it"

I think it's necessary to add clearly, that her statement only applies to the on-screen events, but not to the off-screen events that are mentioned in the story. If they always met in the opposite order, which means that one always is older and remembers thing while the other one keeps getting younger and does not know any of the events, there could be none commom memories.

The Doctor: Library, Angels, Pandorica, Astronaut (909)-Astronaut (1,103)

River Song: Astronaut(1,103-then 909), Pandorica, Angels, Library (Death)

I think this is the order in which they experience the meetings so far (on-screen). But we have to add the mentioned offscreen events "Easter Island and Jim the Fish". At their first meeting in the Impossible Astronaut they both have entries in their diaries that mention those events. Therefore they had to meet off-screen, when the doctor was between the age of 909 an 1,103 and River was younger than in this story. Afterwards they both aged and met again in the Impossible Astronaut. They both remember these events so they have to happen in a the order "Easter Island and Jim the Fish" and then the Astronaut for River and the Doctor. It is obvious, that this is not the oppositional order but the same direction they went in their timelines. This only happend because of the meeting with the older version of the doctor.     • In this case her statement would be wrong, too. I assumend that it applies at least to the on-screen story.     • If they always met in exactly opposite orders, then the Diary would serve no point. She meant in general that their meetings are all off. Plus, the Doctor meets River and takes her to the Opera just before Library as well, meaning that they eventually start meeting in a stable order towards the end of her life.

Continuty-Three Knocks[[edit source]]

Shouldn't it be added that the doctor was shot three times (knocks)?

  • The prophecy was four knocks, not three, and it already came true in The End of Time.

Stop vandalizing the plot[[edit source]]

Someone just reverted the plot to its earlier version a few hours ago reducing it from 8 scenes to only 3. I have no idea why that was done in the wiki but if someone is going to take such a step, they should confirm here first. Thanks, Arunreginald 17:25, April 24, 2011 (UTC)

Why wait with the final shot?[[edit source]]

The Astronaut shot the doctor twice, and then the third time when the doctor started to expell energy from his arms and head. My question is, why did the astronaut wait untill the doctor was in that state, he could just have shot him when the doctors hand started to glow.


I also found it abit odd that when the doctor was shot the last time that there was some sort of a shockwave that came from him. You could see it ripple on the water.

I thimk it might be a staser to stop him regenerating maybe they can only do it WHILE he was changing

I don't believe it was any special type of laser gun (or whatever they are called), but it has been explored before during the Tennant Era that the Doctor can be killed before regeneration, much like the Master's 'death' in "Last of the Time Lords". Continuity[[edit source]]

  • I don't think its a reference to the 10th Doctor. Lot's of people say "I'm sorry" and while the 10th is known for his over-use of it, the doctor saying it in this situation doesn't seem like a reference at all, especially since the 10th didn't say "I'm sorry" while regenerating.   • It could also point to River in the exploding Tardis during the Pandorica/Big Bang episodes: she says repeatedly, "I'm sorry, my love." Those words were what the Doctor, Rory and Amy heard over and over again by pointing the modified satellite dish at the "sun" in Big Bang, so the Doctor has heard River say those words repeatedly.
  • Posts should be signed :\ and again, i still think it isn't a reference to anything. I think it's meaning has something to do with something that has yet to happen. The Doctor is apologizing for something that happened to whoever is in the suit. Also, "I'm sorry" is pretty common to say, and i don't see any reason why the doctor would say that just because he overheard River saying it. There is no Boom Mike error.[[edit source]]

It is someone behind him walking down the hall. You can only see the top of the persons head. Watch it carefully, it has the walking gait of a human. Additionally, boom mikes are usually not behind the person speaking beneath shoulder level. They do not work that way.

Enemies[[edit source]]

Shouldn't the Immpossible astronaut (or spaceman whatever it's called) be listed as an enemy since they did kill the doctor. Also is it being called spaceman a nod to donna's nickname for the tenth doctor?

  • I think Ganger Amy only shows up in the next episode, when she is rescued after being abducted by the silence. Either way i think it should be left how it is since we only discover it later on. Rawrgoaway 07:15, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

So what ever happened to The (1103 Doctor's) TARDIS? How did he arrive in 1969? Did he have his TARDIS with him? Where is she now then? Do you think that will come back later on in the series?
