Teufel was a baron. He was a scientist who murdered people to perform experiments on their corpses, while making it appear as if a beast had committed the murders. He left Orlok after being blinded by Frau Tod. After twenty years, he was killed and impersonated by Zoff while making his return. (AUDIO: The Beast of Orlok)
