The Daily Sketch was a newspaper that existed on Earth in the Doctor's universe by the 1960s and on Earth in Pete's World by the 2000s.

In October 1963, Susan Foreman read an article about the Cold War in The Daily Sketch. She had never previously heard of the conflict. (AUDIO: Hunters of Earth [+]Loading...["Hunters of Earth (audio story)"])

Later, Joey Oxford, a investigative reporter for The Daily Sketch, was doing a piece about runaway pregnant schoolgirls entitled "Teenage Runaway Schoolgirls. The New 'Cathy Come Homes'." He approached Susan Foreman, who had gone missing from November 1963 to July 1964, and talked with her at the YWCA hostel she was staying at. (AUDIO: Whatever Happened to Susan Foreman? In Pete's World, (TV: Doomsday [+]Loading...["Doomsday (TV story)"], etc.) The Daily Sketch was a newspaper for which Tom MacRae acted as a journalist. It was while working for The Daily Sketch that Tom MacRae conducted an interview with John Lumic which ended with Lumic fatally electrocuting Tom after he asked several questions which Lumic found to be beneath him.
